Brigitte’s collaborative project with pianist Barry Green under the band Babelfish has been another source of joyful and cross-genre experimentation, showcasing an ability to convey heartfelt emotion in multiple languages and, indeed, with no language at all. Featuring jazz legends Chris Laurence on double bass and Paul Clarvis on percussion, the band has released three albums so far, each displaying a natural ease and rapport with playful, spontaneous qualities throughout.
